Borneo Bay City Seizes Opportunities in IKN Development, Sales Increase, and Phase 2 Soho Preparation Underway

Borneo Bay City once again held a Loyal Customer Private Gathering to introduce a series of units in Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan. Complete with various promotions and featuring Indonesian Idol alumna, Nania Yusuf.

The event, which took place at Novotel Balikpapan Hotel on Saturday (11/25/2023) evening, also invited several partners and loyal customers.

Borneo Bay City's AVP Marketing, Yenti Lokat, stated that with the existence of the Ministry of Finance Regulation (PMK) regarding VAT incentives, it facilitates customers to own or even invest in the Superblock integrated into PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APL).

"It's the right timing. So, we can take advantage of this opportunity with government support. Fortunately, the criteria for the government's incentive program fall into our category," she explained.

She revealed that the sales of Superblocks in the strategic area of Jenderal Sudirman Street have become more massive, especially with the presence of the government's incentive regulations.

"We've closed quite a lot. Starting from daytime, there were customers. Some are repeat buyers, and some are new customers," she added.

Not only that, according to Yenti, the massive progress of the construction of the new Capital City (IKN) also triggers the enthusiasm of many customers to buy residences in Borneo Bay.

It's understandable since some time ago, a series of infrastructure in the new capital has already conducted groundbreaking ceremonies.

"Now people are more enthusiastic because of the massive progress of the IKN. This makes Balikpapan the gateway to IKN also massive," she explained.

For this reason, Borneo Bay has also prepared Soho Phase 2 in that area. With a limited number of units sized 4x15 m2 and 6x15 m2.

"This time with a different concept. The back can be used for pedestrians, and the view is towards the sea. Also, from the front, it faces Plaza Mall," she explained.

"For Phase 2, the selling price hasn't been released yet, but the customer enthusiasm to reserve units is already good," she revealed.

It's worth noting that all units in Soho Phase 1 have been sold. The construction progress is at 90 percent. Meanwhile, for Soho Phase 2, pile installation has been carried out.

"The piles are already in, and the launch will happen soon," she concluded.
