Supporting City of the National Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan Becomes a Magnet for New Property Investment.

"Jakarta - The development of the National Capital City (IKN) has attracted many entrepreneurs and businesspeople in Indonesia to invest in the East Kalimantan region. The increasing investment momentum around the IKN area includes the supporting cities of Balikpapan and Samarinda.

According to data from the East Kalimantan Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), the investment realization figure for the first quarter of 2024 reached 22.01 percent, amounting to IDR 16.73 trillion. This figure represents an increase of 7.84 percent compared to the first quarter of 2023.

This also includes the realization of Domestic Investment (PMDN) amounting to IDR 11.92 trillion and Foreign Investment (PMA) amounting to USD 320.51 million, or IDR 4.80 trillion.

Agung Podomoro's Deputy Marketing Director, Yenti Lokat, explained that the increase in investment realization in East Kalimantan presents an opportunity to meet the demand for property investment in the area.
